WHO WE ARE.
FUSE Society is a federally registered, youth-led non-profit that exists to bridge the gap between academia and the real world. Founded in 2016 by two Vancouver high-school students, FUSE promotes business literacy by distributing free, case-based learning tools to high school business classes. We are an organization that branches across 3 provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. Boasting members from over 15 schools, we have engaged over 400 students to date at our case competitions and events and are rapidly expanding.
NATIONAL BUSINESS PROGRAM 2021

9:30-16:30 PT | 10:30-17:30 MT | 12:30-19:30 ET
The FUSE National Business Program is a business case-study program that engages secondary school classrooms across Canada. FUSE volunteers connect with Canadian business teachers and deliver a series of three lessons to their classrooms based on a proprietary curriculum. Students in each class form teams and build a case presentation. The top teams in each school advance to the program Finale Competition. In Q3 of 2020, the program has reached 500 students across 17 schools in BC, Alberta, and Ontario, equipping each individual with skills to holistically evaluate a business problem and craft a fitting solution.
The FUSE National Business Program Finale Competition congregates the top teams from each school enrolled in our program. Teams have the unique opportunity of facing-off against students from across the country and to absorb ideas from diverse perspectives. Four to six teams will advance from the preliminary round to the finalist round. Mr. Mike Walsh, the President and COO of Leon’s, Canada’s largest furniture retailer and the subject of the competition’s case study, will be present to select the winning team.
